The article discusses the possibilities of storytelling (including digital) in education. The use of storytelling is conceptualized in two aspects: as a method of popularizing education and introducing reading, actively used in modern educational projects, and as a technology for students to work with text, allowing them to comprehend new material, to "appropriate" this or that knowledge. The study examines some of the educational effects arising from the use of storytelling or its elements in scholastic and educational projects.
