The article provides an overview of Gorky’s caricature
images presented in scientific journals and identified individual
trends in the satirical image of a famous writer. According to the
results of a continuous review of a number of pre-revolutionary
Russian magazines, 24 cartoons were found that were not
included in Gorky’s catalogs.
