The article is dedicated to awarding of the Russian Canadianist Professor Ekaterina V. Isaeva (Russian State University of Humanities) the Order of Francophones of America (Ordre des francophones d'Amérique). It provides information about this order, its statute and the previous honorees. The author gives an overview of the academic, educational and managing activities of Dr. E. V. Isayeva, who has made a significant contribution to the development of Canadian and Quebec studies in Russia, as well as to the dissemination and popularization of knowledge about Quebec and French speakers in Canada.
