Тhe article deals with the role and place of culture in public diplomacy. The authors analyze the concept of cultural diplomacy on the basis of different approaches, define its goals and main forms. The article compares such concepts as" cultural diplomacy"," public diplomacy", "foreign cultural policy". The authors note the increased role and place of culture in international relations.
