The article deals with the analysis of the results of an online sociological study of the media configurations of digital Orthodox Christianity. Using the methodology of the theory of mediation of the social construction of society by Nick Couldry and Andreas Hepp, the author describes main avenues of digitalization of modern Orthodoxy in the post-Soviet sociocultural space. She focuses on the media configuration of the multimedia project «Father Online» and the Orthodox social network «Elitsa». The author shows that in 2015 a new stage in the digitalization of Russian Orthodoxy begins, which produced the new Orthodox niche within the Internet space, and activated centralized and coordinated development of new media technologies.
