The article is devoted to the analysis of the transformations of economic and cultural trends after May 1968 in connection with postmodernism as a descriptive matrix of these changes. The movement of the left-wing intellectuals’68 at the political level and postmodernist categories at the level of philosophy are “action” and “reflection” that worked together as a push to improve capitalism and a parallel conceptual interpretation of this process. Postmodernism is a philosophical description of post-capitalism.
