The research aims to trace the influence of the Oxford Movement on the specifics of Protestantism development in English-speaking countries. The paper is novel in that it examines the peculiarities of Tractarianism perception in Ireland, the USA and Australia, which is a little-studied topic. The research findings show that Anglicans in Ireland tried to distance themselves from the Oxford Movement, as a result of which Irish Anglicanism turned out to be the most strict Protestant denomination. In the USA, Tractarianism contributed to schisms within the Protestant Episcopal Church of America. On the contrary, Tractarianism proved to be successful in Australia, giving local Anglicans their identity and contributing to their separation from other Protestant denominations.
