This article deals with ego-referentiality in linguistic scientific discourse. As an aspect of the communicative and pragmatic content of the text, ego-referentiality serves to tie the textual statement to its author. In this regard, linguistic forms of the author manifestation are analyzed in the structure of scientific texts and the connection between the strategies of scientific communication and the way of ego-referentiality is determined.
