The paper is devoted to critical evaluation of fold fines for bribery in Russian criminal law. In the context of criminal law active novelization one of the priority directions of criminology's development is considered as law criminology. Real law effectiveness is described by the example of legislative construction of responsibility for bribery. The paper contains conclusions on development of responsibility for bribery in national law system and legislative nature of responsibility for bribery. Problem of fold fines' infliction is studied. Basing on legislative formula and court practice data comparison the author demonstrates fold fine assessment mechanism, points out problems that court practice will face in relation to this type of sanction's infliction and execution and suggests ways of their elimination.
