The article examines the current trends in the transformation of the urban management system under the arising challenges of digital technological development. The paper analyzes platform solutions in public administration and possible “dividends” for citizens. The author of the article expresses the idea of increasing complexity of urban processes that brings the need for a qualitative transformation of urban management, which requires the use of new digital technologies for managing the life processes of a city.
