This paper reveals the social policy pursued by the government of R.Reagan. U. S.economic recovery program R.Reagan included, including policies to reduce the “unnecessary” social programs. In addition, due to this, the construction of a more effective economic model. According to a number of Progovernment economists, the reduction of social spending by the Federal government, among other things, should have given impetus to the growth of economic indicators. The cost of human capital is laid down on the regional authorities. The authors set the task to consider the positive and negative aspects of this economic and social course.
