Significance. Decreased confidence in vaccination and increased number of refusals from vaccines among population have recently become a pressing problem in health systems worldwide. Anti-vaccination skepticism is highly prevalent among parents, and there are parental communities with even more pronounced skepticism. According to American researchers, these communities include homeschooling parents. In the domestic scientific literature, there are hardly any studies on attitude towards vaccination among parents with homeschoolers. The purpose of the study is to describe the attitude towards vaccination among parents who prefer different forms of education of their children, i.e. to attend educational institutions or to be homeschooled as well as to identify specific subgroups of anti-vaccination skepticism. Materials and methods. To collect data, an online survey questionnaire was developed, which was distributed among VK (VKontakte) communities dedicated to homeschooling and formal school education. The sample consisted of 220 parents of children aged 6 to 18 years, including 113 parents practicing home education, and 107 parents with children attending educational institutions. Results. According to the study results, anti-vaccination skepticism was higher among homeschooling parents compared to parents of schoolchildren. Attitude towards vaccination is more negative among homeschooling parents compared to parents of children attending educational institutions. Difference in vaccination status of children among homeschoolers and attending educational institutions has been revealed. Conclusions. Despite difference in perception of vaccination among parents of schoolchildren and homeschooling parents, respondents generally showed a lack of confidence in vaccination (53.9% considered vaccines to be dangerous). In both groups with different forms of education chosen for children, indecision and skepticism in relation to vaccination prevailed. Parents with fully vaccinated children account for 15.3% of the homeschooling community and 43.9% of parents of schoolchildren. The relationship between vaccination status and attitude of parents about the danger of vaccines has been revealed.
