The article analyses the perception of communicative aggression in the media and the Internet by the students of St. Petersburg State University, who are currently studying in specialties Political Science and Journalism. It was found that students see the highest level of aggression on the Internet and on television, while in newspapers and magazines it is not noted at all, although the most popular sources of political information among young people are the Internet and print media. Most respondents believe that communicative aggression in the media affects the opinion of the public with a low level of education. The survey also show that the factor of interpersonal communication plays an important role in the consumption of political information. The article describes the research methodology, presents and analyzes the results obtained, determines the directions for further research.
