OREKHOV Andrey Vladimirovich was born on October 5, 1956, in the Leningrad (USSR). In 1984 he graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics of the Leningrad State University in the Department of Higher Algebra and Number Theory. Andrey V. Orekhov is a 1987 lecturer at Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Control Processes of Saint-Petersburg State University. The main types of teaching activities: mathematical analysis (lectures and practical exercises), information theory and machine learning (lectures and practical exercises), scientific supervision of graduate works. Research interests: mathematical analysis, multivariate statistical methods, applied statistics, mathematical immunology, mechanics of a deformable solid, the theory of strength, and fracture.
