Diagnosing the state of the soil and vegetation cover and the stability of the geosystem to human influence. Research is described which aimed to ascertain the state of the soil cover in the catchment area of Lake Suuri and the adjacent area, and the state and pollution of the vegetation in the region of Kuznechnoye in the Lake Ladoga area of Karelia. The stability of the geosystems to human influence was assessed.
