Using high-temperature mass spectrometry technique, for the first time four new gaseous Fe(II) salts are discovered, in which FeO acts as cation-forming oxide: FeMoO₄, FeWO₄, FePO₃ and FePO₂. Standard enthalpies of formation and atomization are determined for these compounds.
