N2 - The high-grade metamorphism (no lower than the high-temperature amphibolite facies) and involvement of the massif in the intricate folding suggest its emplacement at the orogenic stage of Svecofennide evolution. To date, we have obtained a sufficiently precise age interval (1.87-1.89 Ga) for this stage. This communication presents results of U-Pb-dating of zircon and monazite from granites of the Kuznechensky Massif that support their emplacement at the orogenic stage.
