The problem of the magnetic field effect on a metal elliptical bar lying in it has been considered. The expression for the potential density of a simple layer has been obtained by the method of integral equations. Also, the torsional moment acting on the metal bar with the elliptical cross-section from the homogeneous magnetic field has been defined.
