N2 - The paper devoted to a numerical simulation of conducting droplet merging under the effect of pulsed voltage. Two cases are considered-when the voltage is switched-off exactly at the moment of droplets touching each other and slightly in advance. The time interval of voltage absence is varied in the range from 2 to 40 ms. The data obtained for droplets with radiuses 0.2-2 mm shows the possibility of increasing the critical electric field strength (when the complete coalescence changes with non-coalescence) on 10-20 % when pulsed voltage is used.
