N2 - The possibility of control over the deformation and strength properties of annular structures by choosing temperature intervals of their operation is demonstrated. Identical mechanical actions on “metal muscles” at different temperatures results in considerable changes in their strength potentialities. A wire of diameter 2 mm made of Ti–Ni 50.6 at % alloy is tested.
