N2 - IR spectroscopy was applied to study the effect of BaF2 and BaO on the structure of glasses in the systems Ba(PO3)2-BaF2 and Ba(PO3)2-BaO. Structural features of these glasses and the composition of the formed structural fragments are considered and the amount of Ba(PO3)2 reacting with BaF2 (BaO) in the course of glass synthesis is evaluated.
