The multidimensional Schrödinger operator[Figure not available: see fulltext.] with a periodic timedependent potential is considered. The potential may decrease slowly with respect to the space variable and its mean value with respect to time is equal to zero. It is shown that for the pair H₀=-Δ, H, there exist wave operators, and their ranges coincide with the absolutely continuous subspace of the corresponding monodromy operator.
