Parameters and the current state of the development of the highest power neutron source, intended for operation on the beams extracted from the research reactor PIK (NRC KI-PNPI, Gatchina) are reviewed. This facility will determine the strategy of development of neutron studies in the Russian Federation and become a basis of the International Center of Neutron Research.
