N2 - The general theory of the conduction of ionic micellar solution is formulated with allowance for the dependence of the number of aggregation and the degree of counterion binding on concentration. The theory developed makes it possible to explain the anomalies of the concentration dependence of equivalent conductivity observed experimentally and expressed in the form of extreme dependences in the range of critical micellization concentration. It was shown that such anomalies are associated with the micellization process when the number of aggregation varies significantly, thus resulting in the change in the degree of counterion binding. In the absence of interactions of other types, the phenomena of micellization may result in the appearance of the maximum at the concentration dependence of equivalent conductivity, whereas the accounting for other interactions explains the presence of minimum preceding the maximum. The effect of the length of hydrocarbon chain and the size of polar group of surfactant molecules, temperature, and the presence of foreign electrolytes on the appearance of extrema of equivalent conductivity was analyzed. The analysis was performed for the typical case when the effective radius of micelle-forming ion exceeds by several times that of the free hydrated counterions.
