28 May 1991 was the 60th anniversary of the Cartographical Chair of Leningrad State University (LSU). LSU is the only higher institute of learning in the USSR that prepares specialists in nautical cartography. This article is about the current status of the Nautical Cartography course that the author teaches at LSU.
