A survey of existing methods of pathogenetic and symptomatic treatment of primary biliary cirrhosis has been made and it has reviewed prospective directions of its therapy. Is also presents a retrospective analysis of our own data of S-adenosylmethionine (Heptral) in 27 patients PBC receiving UDCA basic therapy.
