Potentiometric methods for determination of copper in sulfide ores using chemical sensors, which make it possible to determine copper in a wide range of concentrations with an accuracy from 1 to 10% depending on the method used, are described. Acid decomposition of samples of copper ores is used in the present work. Measurements are conducted using all-solid-phase copper-selective chemical sensors with a crystal membrane. The results obtained by direct potentiometry, potentiometric titration with sodium ethylenediaminetetraacetate and sodium diethyldithiocarbamate, and an addition method are compared. The most satisfactory results (relative error 1%) in the determination of the concentrations of analyte solutions are obtained using potentiometric titration.
