Abstract: In addition to classic phytohormones, such as auxin, cytokinin, ethylene, gibberellin, and abscisic acid, plant peptide hormones are also involved in various aspects of growth and development. This group of phytohormones is represented by short peptides, which are, as a rule, ligands for receptor kinases that initiate a signaling cascade, regulating plant development in response to stimuli from an external or internal environment. The review examines the peptide phytohormones known to date, their structure, synthesis features, receptors, and their role in plant development.
