Spectroscopic studies of five peculiar stars (CD-65°2893, HD 22229, HD 66812, HD 56523 and HD 31341) with presumed elevated abundances of s-process elements are reported. High spectral resolution observations of these stars made in 2008 at the 2.2-m telescope of the European Southern Observatory (ESO) in Chile with the FEROS spectrograph are analyzed. The evolutionary status of the stars is determined, along with some of their fundamental parameters, such as: effective temperature, acceleration of gravity at their surfaces, microturbulence velocity, metallicity, and the abundance of chemical elements, including s-process elements, in their atmospheres.
