N1 - Funding Information: Thus, it is shown that there are no fundamental limitations on the existence of PML in a two-section laser. This allows us to hope for the creation of compact sources of few-cycle pulsed radiation with a repetition frequency only an order of magnitude smaller than the frequency of laser radiation, which is certainly a very complex technological problem.
