In this paper, the p4 configuration is treated as a configuration with two equivalent p holes (and not as four electrons). Its aim is to verify in a numerical experiment the total identity of the matrices of the energy operator for the p2 and p4 configurations, which has been shown in our paper [1]. Parameters of the fine structure were obtained by a semiempirical method (from experimental values of energy) for a large number of elements: oxygen, sulfur, selenium, tellurium, and polonium atoms and ions of the corresponding isoelectronic series. In addition to parameters, we calculated energies of the fine structure, which agree to the last significant figure with the experimental values, coupling coefficients, and gyromagnetic ratios. For the BrII ion, we determined the energy of the 1S0 level whose experimental value was not available.
