The cross section of the recombination process of an electron with a U⁹¹⁺ ion is calculated for the case of resonance with the doubly-excited states (2s _{1 2}2s _{1 2})₀, (2p _{1 2}2p _{1 2})₀ of U⁹⁰⁺. The overlap of the two levels with identical quantum numbers gives rise to additional interference effects. The relative magnitude of these effects reaches about 30%.
