Thermodynamic equations have been derived for the equilibrium of two phases in a thin film differing in their normal pressure values. The existence of such phases is characteristic of thin films between solids. Asymptotic relations have been obtained characterizing the dependence of main state parameters and two-phase equilibrium parameters on the thickness of a film. These relations are much more accurate than Kelvin's equation and other relationships of the thermodynamics of curved surfaces.
