A discrete periodic signal with given energy is treated as the optimal one if a side lobe suppression filter with energy-minimum pulse characteristic corresponds to the signal. In this work, the conception of the optimal signal-filter pair is spread over the case when n-convolution is used instead of cyclic one. The n-optimal n-order signals are constructed at all n = 2, 3, etc.
