We report the results of two-dimensional, axisymmetric numerical simulation of a cold plasma generator for medical applications. Helium is considered as a working gas, a large number of plasma- chemical reactions are taken into account. We carried out numerical experiments on a cold atmospheric plasma under different external conditions. Spatial distribution of the neutral gas temperature and its dependence on the discharge current has been obtained. The numerical results point to a wide range of applications of such plasma generators in medicine.
