N2 - We study the dynamics of the temperature of electrons heated by fast electrons generated during the modification of the ionosphere by powerful electromagnetic waves. A correct expression is proposed for the contribution of electron-electron collisions to the heating of Maxwellian (thermal) electrons in the presence of a stationary flow of fast electrons in the plasma. Simulation are performed for the parameters corresponding to the real values in the ionospheric plasma of the F-layer at an altitude of h 200-300 km, used in earlier works.
