Modern Mongolian writer G. Ayurzana (born in 1970) is well known to the readers for his novels “The Shaman’s Legend” (2010), “Shugden” (2012), “White, Black, Red” (2014), “Pulsation” (2015) . The novel " Sacred Hangay’s Secret" (2017) is written in the style of magical realism. Novel’s time is the end of the Tsins rule, the years of Mongolia’s independence, People's Revolution victory. Novel’s protagonist is the last ruler of one of the khoshuns Purev gun. Special attention in the novel is paid to change of human essence and worldview, produced by historical events (the course of time). This is the period of significant social upheaval in the country. The author combines everyday life description with fantastic and magical one, as in the famous novel by Latin American writer G.Markes "One Hundred Years of Solitude."
