The model of interactive software and hardware system – “virtual mother”, promotes the formation and development of speech in children - orphans. A database of maternal speech and the response replicas of children were created in the project INFANTRU - language and sounds database of Russian children of the first-third year of life. Data about normative vocal-speech interaction in mother-child dyads during the first year of life were used to implement the principle laid down in the model of acoustic feedback.Approach to automatic recognition of children's speech was performed for this purpose.
