The wide spectrum of diagnostics is applied for obtaining the detailed information about local characteristics of MW discharge in supersonic flow. Integration of delicate optic experiment with thorough numeric modeling delivers deeper insight for the basic processes in plasma Self-consisted electrodynamic and kinetic modeling for discharge channel along with processing of the experimental data has shown that specific energy input in a channel is rather high. Detailed imaging in selfemission of discharge channel active phase, afterglow, including interaction with the BSW was provided for the first time. The entire BSW region is filled by a luminescence, though the channel is not wide. This indicates the processes of intensive mixing in a shock layer at time-scale of microseconds.
