This study investigates the structure of the metaphor space of vocal training discourse on Russian language material. The metaphor space is understood as a part of the semantic field, formed by the complex relationships between semantic spaces (slots) of the source domain and the target domain as well as between them in the entire set of metaphors in this discourse. 465 metaphors from 8 vocal training lessons (with a total number of more than 10 thousand words) served as a material for the study. Graphosemantic modeling of the structure of these verbal metaphors allowed us to identify the most typical frames and slots of the source and the target domains and reveal the inter-frame and intra-frame connections between vocal metaphor frames and slots. The most typical verbal metaphor slots and their combinations (“Physical impact”—“Body parts”—“Work of organs” and “Body parts”—“Timbre”—“Position of organs”) form the “framework” of vocal training discourse and reflect the main topics and themes of this discourse.
