The teaching aid helps to understand up-to-date concepts on the relationship and cross impact of somatic diseases and dental pathology. The systematization of changes in the oral mucosa, distinct features of the most common therapeutic diseases, viewed by the authors, will allow students expanding their understanding of the contemporary interdisciplinary approach in managing patients and developing clinical thinking skills.
The material is available divided into sections describing how the gastrointestinal tract, cardiovascular system, blood system, endocrine system, respiratory organs and kidneys pathology manifest themselves on the oral mucosa. After the theoretical material, control questions, situational tasks and tasks for test control are given.
The teaching aid is intended for students of medical universities studying in the areas of "Dentistry" and "General Medicine", as part of the development of the disciplines "Therapeutic Dentistry" and "Internal Diseases"
