Тhe article focuses on the use of information resources developed by museums for educational purposes. The author examines the resources published on the websites of museums, projects, and massive open online courses. The authors is examining theories are reflected various aspects of collaboration between museums and universities. There are Open Education, Life Long Learning, Cognitive Science, Blended Learning, eLearning, Edutainment, Connectionism, and Multimedia Learning. It is proposed the term ‘net learning’ that combine aforementioned definitions and focuses on learning via communication between experts in virtual and ‘face to face’ communication.
