N2 - The influence of the peculiarities of the evolution on the transition processes at the establishment of the steady state thermofield ion emission (TFIE) is investigated. The relaxation time and the main kinetic characteristics of the TFIE are calculated in the ″crater″ approximation. The theoretical results and the available experimental data are compared.
