N2 - The influence of centrifugal forces on angular velocity sensors that measure a spectral shift of whispering-gallery modes (WGMs) is investigated. Spherical WGM resonators of different materials are considered the sensing elements. The study is based on the results of the simulation in OOFELIE::Multiphysics software.
