Studies concerning the structure of electrohydrodynamic currents reveal that the ions in low conducting liquids are able to form steady structures, possessing other than non-charged liquid viscoelastic properties. One of the studies involved the dispersion of an ultrasound velocity on charged supermolecular formations under the effect of pre-breakdown electric fields. A mathematical model of the problem concerning the distribution of sound to a liquid, in which supermolecular structures around elementary carriers of a charge were generated, was also derived.
