N2 - Earlier developed interpretations of the effects of local focusing the high-frequency wave field on the ionospheric reflection paths of propagation are discussed. Consideration is based on the integral representation of the high-frequency field, propagating in the inhomogeneous background ionosphere above the Earth, which also contains local mid-scale inhomogeneities of the electron density.
AB - Earlier developed interpretations of the effects of local focusing the high-frequency wave field on the ionospheric reflection paths of propagation are discussed.
