The development of a technique to realize four-wave neutron-resonance spin echo (NRSE), was described. The principle of the neutron spin echo, where a neutron wave splits into two waves in a magnetic field, was used for the development of the technique. Adiabatic neutron-resonance spin flippers were used for producing the four different wave packets in a typical NRSE set-up. Two independent compensation coils were installed in an arm of the spin-echo machine for compensation of the spin precession produced by a couple of the neutron-resonance coils in another arm. A composite correlation function can be measured, when all four neutron waves are combined in the single spin echo.
