N2 - The possibility of formation of ordered silicon structures, including silicene, on the graphite substrate surface has been studied. The effect of various conditions of depositing silicon atoms on a finite structure has also been studied. The data on the surface morphology has been obtained by atomic force microscopy, and the electronic structure has been studied by Auger electron spectroscopy.
