Peculiarities of light scattered by aqueous suspension of diamond and graphite under electric field are studied. Both colloidal suspensions are polydisperse ones. Mean sizes of diamond and graphite particles are 450 and 600 nm, correspondingly. Time- and field-dependencies of scattered light intensity are studied at different scattering angles. The dependencies are measured at along and across polarization to the field applied. The time- and field-dependencies at small angles are similar in shape to the same of electric field dichroism and can be used to determine distribution functions of particles’ polarisability anisotropy and sizes.
