abstract = "The surface tension isotherms of aqueous solutions of ethyl, propyl, isopropyl, and butyl alcohols with films of the sodium polystyrene sulfonate–dodecyltrimethylammonium bromide complex spread to their surface were obtained by the Wilhelmy plate method. The conditions of film formation with the limiting concentration of the complex were determined. These films reduce the evaporation of aqueous alcohol solutions and demonstrate selective properties, decreasing the alcohol content in vapor by 2–5%.",
